Adoniram Judson thirsted to see the Good News proclaimed in the shrouded land of Burma. This eventually came to fruition but at a great cost. With his first wife, Ann, the Gospel reached into Burma. He survived starvation, imprisonment and torture both on land and at sea. He saw his family, co-workers and friends succumb to death. In spite of much heartache, Judson translated the Bible into Burmese.
