Thang has been a follower of Christ for more than 35 years. His extended family rejected him when they learned of his conversion, and he spent almost 10 years in prison suffering forced labour, poor rations and regular beatings for his ongoing testimony about Christ. Thang is regularly harassed, and he has been blacklisted by the government. As a result, he has no access to social services, including healthcare, and his family is closely monitored.

Thang also developed a severe stomach ulcer due to the stress he endured. This past year, however, Thang received medical care with the help of the body of Christ. His health has improved and he is now able to continue visiting the many Hmong churches he oversees and serves.

  • Praise God for the body of Christ who helped Thang get medical care.

  • Pray for Thang's physical health and safety as he continues to serve these churches. Pray also for Him to stay spiritually strong in the Lord.

  • Pray for his family to know the Lord as their personal Saviour.
