When Vanh, a Loatian woman, became a Believer in Christ, her husband divorced her and drove her and their children out of the house. With help from the global body of Christ, they were able to build a hut to live in. Their situation improved, but Vanh continued to face harassment from others in the community. On 2 December 2024, while she was out working her fields, someone entered her hut and took her most prized possession — her Bible. Disappointed, she prayed to God for a new Bible. When a Front-Line Worker visited Vanh two weeks later with his wife, they happened to be carrying an extra Bible with them. Vanh was ecstatic to again have access to the Word of God, crying tears of joy as she shared with the visitors how they were God’s answer to her prayers.
Pray for the success of efforts to ensure that every Believer in Laos who longs to have the Word of God will receive a Bible of their own.
