Fazal, a displaced Afghan Christian, was recently arrested in Central Asia for his Christian activities. Police eventually released him after he paid a significant fine. Front-Line Workers say Fazal has been very active in sharing his faith with other displaced Afghans. Since his arrest, Fazal has moved from house to house to avoid authorities, and he fears being returned to the Taliban. “If I go to Afghanistan, the Taliban will kill me,” he said. “There is no clear future right now … but I know Jesus is always with me.” A Front-Line Worker also reported that God is moving among displaced Afghans. “A lot of Afghan refugees are accepting Christ and becoming Christ’s disciples,” he said. “Pray for protection for our Afghan brothers and sisters.”
